Trained
at the Royal Academy
of Dancing, London
and having danced
professionally
for 3/4 years,
took up her first
teaching post
Elmhurst Ballet
School, Camberley,
Surrey. This was
followed by work
in Canada with
a branch of the
Royal Winnipeg
Ballet in British
Columbia and at
the Banff School
of Fine Arts,
Calgary, Edmonton
for many years
both in areas
of teaching and
choreography.
On
returning to England,
she taught free
in London at Stella
Mann School, New
Hall Convent,
Chelmsford and
at both the Royal
Academy and Royal
Ballet School.
June
has also held
the post of Artistic
Director to the
Rhodesian National
Ballet, travelled
with an educational
group around Africa
and mounted own
choreographic
works
At present a dual
examiner and tutor
with the Royal
Academy of Dancing,
lecturer of Dance
Studies on the
RAD degree programmes
validated by Durham
university and
Head of Dance
at two independent
girls' schools
in Northwood and
has gained a Postgraduate
degree in Education
at the University
of Durham.
